I almost never give a 5 star rating, but this chair deserves it. Appears to be made of a high quality poly wood and relatively easy to assemble - 6 nuts and bolts plus 2 screws. The chair is nice and wide and doesn't sit too low to the ground, so it's easy to get up from.These chairs are heavy which is both good and bad. These weigh about 30 pounds.The good is they shouldn't blow around on your patio in strong winds. Living in FL where we have frequent strong thunder storms with high winds this is a good feature. Actually I think I could just fold them flat and probably leave them out in even a Cat. 1 hurricane.The bad is that since they are folding it gives the impression they chairs are portable. Don't buy these chairs if your plan is to go to the beach and try and carry these from the car to the beach.I've only owned these chairs less than a week so I can't really speak to how they hold up in the long run.Very nice. Looked a little more plastic than I thought. It has a texture that looks fake but after sitting on them I was satisfied. They are very sturdy and will probably last 50 years. They’re collapsable which is easy to store. But they are VERY heavy to move. Overall I’m satisfied and since they are used for a summer rental I am confident they will not rot, are sturdy and will last aLong time.29 mins putting them together, Heavy and a little bulky in folding them up but you figure it out after a few trys. Very sturdy and reasonably comfortable with more of a chair feel making getting in and out a bit easier than some similar chairs Will it handle weather and maintain color are my only questions here in California? Time will tell.I bought this for a private sitting area on a terrace that was rarely used. It has now.become my favorite summer reading spot! Well made, folds easily (a big plus for off season storage).I am 5' tall and find it very comfortable as do taller members of my family.Plus the pop of color--fire engine red that is closer to orange than scarlet--is such a delight in this space.Quite a buy. I only bought one because I had not sat in it nor had seen one. Once assembled I found it quite comfortable and it looks great. I gave the chair three stars for ease of assembly simply because I have no experience putting anything together and the screws were not easily identified as to where they go. However, given my inexperience and that I was able to do this suggests to me it would easy for someone more experienced. I liked the chair so much that I just ordered another.I SHOPPED THIS IN SEVERAL PLACES OTHER ON LINE SITES AND BRICK AND MORTAR AS WELL. FEEL I MADE A VERY GOOD CHOICE. VERY WELL MADE EASY TO ASSEMBLE. IASSEMBLED MOSTLY ALONE BUT HAD THE WIFE HOLD THE BACK WHILE I THREADED THE SCREW. DELIVERY WAS A BIG SURPRISE. RECEIVED 4 DAYS BEFORE THE SCHEDULE HAD ABSOLUTELY NO TRACJING INFORMATION FROM FEDEX. THEIR NOT UPS FOR SUREThese chairs are fantastic! Very sturdy and easy but yet awkward to put together. Two people definitely helps since they are not light. They fold great for storage. Purchased 4 plus the table. My only main issue is they are heavy to move. I can’t picture my older parents moving them around the yard if they wanted a shady spot for example. You need some strength lolIt is heavy but worth it. very comfortable
